Our client is a leading distributor of parts for the automotive industry with their own chain on motor factors.
We were tasked with installing pallet racking to store up to 2500 pallets each weighing 1000kgs. The client was utilising a VNA fork lift which only required an aisle width of 1800mm.
The building had a pitched roof so great care was taken to design the racking in such a way that we made the best use of the height of the building knowing that there would be some restricted headoom where lower height pallets could be stored.
The design stage is of vital importance with these type of installations and we ensured we fully understood the clients needs before submitting our final plans for approval.
