One of our regular clients is a large UK wide tyre wholesaler with many tyre retail outlets. It is vital to this client that they maximise the space they have available at each tyre depot to ensure they keep stock of as many tyres as possible.
At this site the solution we offered was to install a mezzanine floor with staircase and then build tyre racking above and below the floor level.
A motorised belt drive conveyor was installed to speed up loading new stock onto the mezzanine also reducing time consuming manual handling. The conveyor can also be used to remove tyres from the mezzanine floor when needed.
In total this solution provided our client with a tyre storage capacity of over 1000 tyres.
