We removed and disposed of a section of the existing mezzanine floor to create more floor space for the MOT bay. New handrailing was installed to the mezzanine to the exposed edges of the mezzanine floor.
Tyre Racking with four storage levels was installed into the remaining mezzanine.
Walk through tyre racking bays were designed into the scheme minimise wasted space.
Spreader plates were installed under the racking frames to spread the load of the new racks when loaded with tyres.
Finally, we supplied warehouse safety steps to access the upper levels of the racking.
